1. Principle
Kapolly is a financial market product involving real risk. Participation should remain deliberate and controlled. The platform should make risk limits easy to find, easy to understand and harder to bypass than ordinary trading controls.
2. Core member tools
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Trading break | Temporarily prevents new trading for the selected period while preserving access to account information and lawful withdrawals. |
| Self exclusion | Blocks trading access for a longer selected period. Reactivation must follow the published policy and should not be immediate where a cooling off period applies. |
| Deposit limit | Caps the amount a user can add over a defined period. |
| Position and exposure limits | Restrict concentration in a market, market family or account based on regulatory and risk settings. |
| Loss and activity information | Shows realised and unrealised activity information so a user can understand current exposure and past results. |
| Security controls | Strong authentication, session review, device alerts and reauthentication for higher risk actions. |
| Educational material | Explains contract mechanics, maximum loss, maximum payout, liquidity risk, settlement rules and the difference between market price and guaranteed outcome. |
3. How limits should work
- Limit settings must be visible in account settings and explained in plain language.
- A request to make a protective limit stricter may take effect immediately where operationally possible.
- A request to loosen or remove a protective limit may be subject to a cooling off period.
- Self exclusion must not be defeated by opening another account. Linked accounts may be restricted.
- Protective settings do not cancel valid existing obligations or settled trades.
- Withdrawal of available settled cash should remain possible unless a lawful compliance, fraud, sanctions, payment or market integrity hold applies.
4. Product conduct standards
- No jackpot, streak, loss chasing, odds boost or casino style prompts in the initial product.
- No suggestion that a user should recover a loss by placing another trade.
- No false claim that a market price is certain or that an outcome is guaranteed.
- No hidden use of customer loss as an exchange revenue source.
- Fees and maximum loss must be shown before order confirmation.
- High pressure notifications and manipulative urgency should not be used to increase trading frequency.
5. Signs a user may need to reduce activity
- Trading with money needed for rent, food, debt service, school fees or essential obligations.
- Repeatedly increasing deposits after losses.
- Trading for long periods in a way that interferes with work, sleep or relationships.
- Using multiple accounts to evade a chosen limit.
- Feeling unable to stop despite intending to stop.
- Borrowing money in order to continue trading.
6. What Kapolly may do
Where law and policy allow, Kapolly may provide risk reminders, offer a break or limit tool, restrict promotional communications, require reacknowledgement of risk information, or place an account under review where activity indicates fraud, vulnerability or serious loss of control.
Kapolly treats responsible participation measures separately from market integrity enforcement. A responsible participation intervention does not by itself imply misconduct.
7. Support and referral
Kapolly may provide links to independent financial wellbeing, mental health or behavioural support resources appropriate to a user’s location. These services are not a substitute for emergency medical or mental health services.
Before publication, verified local referral partners and crisis contacts will be inserted only after their availability and suitability are confirmed.
8. Account security
Users should enable all available strong authentication features, review active sessions, keep devices secure and report suspicious access promptly. Kapolly may revoke sessions or require additional verification where account takeover risk is detected.
9. Education before trading
Before a user first trades, Kapolly may require a short acknowledgement covering the $1 settlement model, the possibility of full loss of the amount committed, order book pricing, liquidity risk, market resolution rules, fees, country restrictions and restricted trading.
10. Contact
For help with responsible participation settings, use the Kapolly support contact shown in the platform before live regulated trading. For a formal complaint, use the Kapolly complaints contact shown in the platform before live regulated trading.
